Susie has been a journalist since the age of 18, and her cuttings file includes  stories on Islamist converts, Royal scandals, celebrity exclusives, crime, corruption and cock-ups.

She is a skilled interviewer and feature writer with a track record of hard-hitting despatches. Since 2002, she has covered the campaign for official recognition of the men who served at Britain's Cold War nuclear tests.
